Posted November 20, 2018 12:17:56 If you’re looking for something to do with your bacon-and-cheese sandwich, then you’ve come to the right place.
Food and drink specialist Noodle and Sons has launched a brand-new grilled cheese joint called the Cheese and Bacon.
It will open in the Melbourne CBD on Thursday night.
The name is inspired by the cheese-and, bacon-cheesy sandwich that Noodle makes at their Sydney restaurant.
“There’s a lot of things you can do with a grilled cheeseburger and a bacon sandwich,” said Noodle.
You can make your own cheese sauce, add cheese to your sandwich and add bacon, but this is the first time we’ve been able to do this in the CBD.
“We have some really great restaurants across the CBD, and they are all getting to the point where they are getting the whole cheese and meat, and the whole bacon.”
So we decided to do something really different, to bring the whole experience to the CBD.
“You can get your own grilled cheese, which can be made from Noodle’s own cheese, as well as cheese sauce and other toppings, as long as it’s a good size.
There’s no limit to the cheese you can use and you can even add your own bacon.
We’ve tried some of the cheese on the menu so far, and it’s all really tasty, which is what we wanted, said Noodlesons food and beverage team manager, Sarah Pomeroy.
Noodle’s Bacon and Cheese will be available for $5 for a single serving, or $7 for two.
